Stephanie Latovski, Ph.D
Stephanie has broad experience in education, with 18 years on the secondary level teaching French and Spanish and coaching competitive speech and debate. She led study abroad programs and language proficiency testing as Associate Dean of the College at the University of Chicago, where she also wrote and managed foundation and other grants. She was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to Ukraine to teach English, linguistics, writing, and American literature. She was director of two Huntington Learning Center after-school programs and increased enrollment while helped students improve reading, math and ACT skill levels. Stephanie earned her PhD in linguistics from Indiana University. Currently, She is an independent dissertation coach and consultant helping graduate candidates complete masters theses and doctoral dissertations.
David K. Jesuit, Ph.D
Dr. Jesuit is a native of Chicago currently serving as professor of Professor of Political Science and Public Administration at Central Michigan University. David brings over twenty years of experience in the research and teaching of political science, advising Republic Foundation on best practices in political science instruction and civic leadership initiatives.
Caprice is the former principal of San Miguel Middle School on Chicago's west side and now serves as an educational administrator in the Hattiesburg Public School District in Hattiesburg,, Mississippi. Caprice is a Chicago west side native with over ten years of teaching and educational administrative experience.
Nishq is secretary and treasurer of Republic Foundation. Currently a hospital administrator from the University of Chicago's Dermatology unit, Nishq has worked with organizations at the local, state and federal level, bringing over ten years of experience from the social services and healthcare sector.

Our board is made up of four devoted individuals representing over 70 years of combined experience in the private and non profit sectors. We are always seeking like minded individuals to join our board and are currently recruiting a team of teachers, administrators and philanthropists to found an urban leadership academy for at-risk youth on Chicago's west side.
